Mai Linh Ngo-Nguyen
Psychologist and Founder

BSc(Psych) Melb, GDip(psych), MProfPsych, MAAPi

I have the privilege of supporting individuals navigating a diverse range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and mood disorders to the complexities of trauma and relationship dynamics. My passion for psychology stems from a deep curiosity about human behavior, which translates into a heartfelt commitment to helping others reconnect with their sense of vitality and aliveness. As an explorer of the human experience, I bring a compassionate and inquisitive presence to my therapy sessions, delving into the unique stories, behaviors, and motivations of the individuals I work with.

My therapeutic approach integrates Western psychological frameworks with Eastern spiritual practices, incorporating techniques that foster self-compassion, mindfulness, emotional awareness, and body connection.

My key areas of focus include anxiety, depression, complex trauma, stress-related challenges, life transitions, and relational/intimacy issues. I utilise a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-focused and trauma-informed interventions, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Since 2015, I have had the honour of working with humans from all walks of life. When not in a session, you might catch me buried in a book or engaging in my own unique interpretation of dancing. Adult individuals of all ethnicities, religious/cultural backgrounds, sexual/gender identities and humans of any kind are warmly welcome!
